Prepare yourself for quite a long post and too many pretty maternity wedding guest dresses to choose from. If you thought it was gonna be hard to find a maternity dress that was beautiful you were very wrong. I’m sure you will have a hard time to choose just one. I recommend buying one you can see yourself wearing at more than one occasion. As you won’t be pregnant forever the dress obviously has a limited life time in your wardrobe as it is.
I’ve categorized my favorite maternity wedding guest dresses by season, but that’s only to inspire. Go with the one you fall in love with.
Looking for a dress for a fall wedding?
This is probably my favorite maternity wedding guest dress. The cut has that certain Italian style and luxury feel to it. With the beautiful rose shoulder detail, you will certainly stand out in the crowd. It has gotten great reviews from buyers. Someone wrote “amazing dress I love it so much. going to buy another”. And someone else wrote “Dress makes me look so elegant and classy!”
Let us continue on the beautiful design path a while longer. Here’s another maternity statement piece. It will bring the style level up a notch on any party you’ll attend. But it’s also designed to be comfortable. It’s made of stretchy knitted fabric and has easy zip back fastening and a kick split. Perfect for whatever dance moves your pregnancy body allows.
If you feel that the first two choices were a bit much for you this chiffon evening gown with a crochet overlay might be more your cup of tea. It’s classy, elegant and will give you a beautiful silhouette no matter how pregnant you are. Wear it with a shawl or short jacket if it is autumnal weather. It has a sexy open back with a button closure and is double lined with a hidden zipper. I think the burgundy is perfect for fall but there are a couple of other colors to choose from if that doesn’t flatter your skin tone.
No proper wedding dress list without at least one lace option. It comes in a lot of colors, but I think this deep purple is perfect for a fall wedding. As usual you can choose which ever color you want on the sash. It’s made of a comfortable stretch lace and it has a great fit. Check out the reviews if you want to be convinced.
The fall list ends with another strong contender. A another burgundy fitted dress with a half sleeve with layered flounce. The rounded neck goes beautifully with a ponytail and some nice earrings. This is one more dress that has gotten great reviews. There are also some pictures from buyers that you might want to check out.
Now all you have to do is choose. Not that easy right!
Maternity wedding guest dresses perfect for winter weddings
Let’s start the winter of with this fitted knot number. A beautiful cut with a slim fit and a unique design. Or maybe not unique but at least pretty special. And I love that the color is named mushroom. Who doesn’t want to wear something mushroom colored? And as usual with ASOS, it has a nice price tag.
This is another one of my favorites. Probably my favorite maternity wedding guest dress in full length. It’s all made in silk and has a stunning black lace overlay. The black silk sash defines the empire waist giving you a beautiful pregnant silhouette. And I’m not the only one who loves it. Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Katherine Jenkins are proud owners of the dress.
This is a great design if you’ve gotten some curves you want to smooth over. The lace bodice and jeweled empire belt will focus everyone’s eyes on your upper body. And you’ll look super elegant. This dress will serve you well all through your pregnancy. A little black dress will never be the wrong choice.
If you’re looking for a maternity wedding guest dress for a winter wedding that is a little cheaper than previous suggestions, ASOS has great selection. This dress has a cool one-shoulder style and a folder-over trim giving you a unique look. The soft-touch jersey is stretchy, and the kick-split makes it even easier to move around freely.
If you’re going for a natural soft look this dress with its earthy tones will do the trick. And don’t be worried about looking dull. The lace bodice has glittering sequins and the light skirt will elegantly flow over your curves. Style it with a satin charcoal sash or another color of your choosing.
It’s also offered in full length if that’s what you prefer.
Maternity wedding guest dresses for spring weddings
Who said maternity clothes has to be bland and boring? Not ASOS. Yet again I have to give credit to ASOS for offering us unique maternity design for a good price. This structured maternity bodycon dress with a cape overlay has everything you need to have an awesome time at the wedding. You’ll look and feel like a star and the kick split is perfect for the dance floor. It’s designed to fit you from bump to baby and is great for nursing.
This might be the queen of all maternity wedding guest dresses. I think they’ve thought of everything. The doubled layered maternity dress doubles as a nursing dress. Just untie the wrap whenever you want to breastfeed. The wrap itself will give you cover and allows for a little privacy. The dress has participated in Wedding Ideas Magazine and won awards. And nothing suits a spring wedding more than a floral lace in a soft pink shade.
A long flowy romantic dress will certainly make you look stunning at the wedding. Just make sure the bride is wearing white. Otherwise you might be mistaken for the her. I think a long evening gown is a little risky to wear as a wedding guest but if you want one this is a gorgeous choice. Some of the stunning details are a jeweled belt, a concealed side zip, 100 % silk skirt and a keyhole back.
Flowers and spring go well together. It has a tight fit, but the big floral print will take away some attention from the bump. I think that gives it a nice balance and proportion to the body. The sides are a little ruched making it fit better. The long sleeves will keep you warm if the spring breeze is a little chilly. All in all, a beautiful dress you can wear to multiple occasions.
And I give you, MORE FLOWERS. This time in a colder color scale. It might suit an early spring wedding the best. I really like how the print moves over the curves. And the flounce adds that feminine detail that makes the dress the right amount of special.
Dreamy dresses for summer weddings
This is a real best seller. And you can all see why. It’s absolutely gorgeous. It comes in three colors, orchid blush, arabian blue and ivory. Depending on color I think it could work as maternity wedding guest dress, bridesmaid dress or even wedding dress. Here it is paired with a sash in vintage rose but there are other options to choose from. It has a slight shimmer and a little stretch which makes it perfect for any party and dance floor.
This might be the ultimate summer wedding guest dress. The cherry blossom print and strap less cut just oozes summer, love, and party. Silicone elastics and a hidden zip in the back ensures a great fit that stays in place. And you should pair it with a sash of your own choice. I think it’s a great maternity wedding guest dress but it is also perfect for any summer party in your calendar.
Pinkblush has a lot of potential maternity wedding guest dresses to choose from. They do not have the same quality as my top choices, but the prices are also not comparable. I’m back to a lace dress again. But this one is off shoulder and with short sleeves. I love the styling in the pictures giving it a country feel. You can of course style it with high heels and some jewelry to bring a more lux feeling to it. It is double lined, so you don’t have to worry about sheerness.
This is a designer dress from Italy. I think the printed fabric, the cut and the tie detail makes for a pretty special dress. It does cost a bit more than some of the other dresses on the list but the design makes it wearable even post pregnancy. Although you probably don’t want to wear this one twice as it is quite rememberable. You’re better of selling it when you’re done with it.
You might think I’m a little crazy about the lace cocktail dress and you might be right. But the main reason for listing two so similar dresses is the price difference. I think the lace dress from Tiffany Rose is exquisite but that comes with a price. And this one from Seraphine is almost half that. So, depending on your budget and what you’re looking for this might be a more reasonable choice.
And don’t for one second think this is not a great choice. This dress is made of luxury stretch lace and was worn by no other than Frankie Bridge on the cover of Hello! And if you don’t want the pink romantic look it also come in a sexy red and dark blue.
