Cheap maternity wedding dresses – the best online stores
So, what is cheap? That’s very subjective of course. After some research I came to the conclusion that dresses under $100 should be considered cheap maternity wedding dresses. Even if you don’t want or can’t afford something fancy and expensive you probably want something a little special. Something with the right wedding feel. If you just give yourself some time to look through the right stores, I’m sure you’ll find what you’re looking for. There are beautiful and affordable options on many of the maternity sites. Some of them have plus size options as well. I also have a great post with plus size maternity wedding dresses, if that’s what you’re looking for.
If you’re on a really tight budget you might get tempted to order from Chinese/Asian sites like June-Bridals, Dressafford, and tbdress. Both the dresses and the prices seem amazing at first sight. But I wouldn’t risk it. You could of course be ok with what you get. But it’s more likely that you’ve just wasted the few dollars you actually have. If it even gets to you in time. If you want to give it a try, make sure you:
- order in time
- are prepared for extra fees
- are prepared for lower quality
- won’t get a full refund if you’re not happy with it
- costly return shipping
I don’t mean to scare you, but this is reality. Read through all the comments and reviews from disappointed brides-to-be online.

ASOS
Three words to describe ASOS
Express yourself, body positive, design for everyone
ASOS might be my personal favorite. They have so many cool maternity clothes. But that’s not the coolest part. It’s their brand, what they stand for and how they’re marketing themselves that are. To them, clothes and fashion are experimentation, freedom, expression and confidence. It’s about being yourself and being unique. And that is ok. It’s more than ok, it’s the way it should be.
No matter your size and shape, ASOS wants to bring you fresh stuff to wear. They work with hundreds of models and they never alter their appearances . Hello stretch marks and cellulites. Boost your individuality and check out ASOS Curve, Tall, Petite and Maternity.
The dress in the picture – Chi Chi London Bardot sleeve
This is not the cheapest dress but it’s still reasonably priced at just above 110$. And it is just lovely and a little sensual with that Bardot sleeve and midi length. It’s a beautiful dress that will fit you no matter where you are in your pregnancy. The last time I checked it was actually on sale. It can be yours for just $50!!!
Etsy
Three words to describe Etsy
Creative, one of a kind, handmade
If you haven’t heard of Etsy you’re in for a treat. It’s an exciting idea and place. Etsy is a community of sellers of unique and creative goods. That means you can find one of a kind, hand crafted items at a really good price. It’s a global market with millions of buyers.
The trick here is to find the right seller. There are thousands upon thousands of sellers and naturally the quality and prices vary. They do have a review/rating system that is quite good. It’s no guarantee of course, and it is time consuming. But don’t be discouraged. Etsy could be the answer you’ve been looking for. Finding amazing and cheap maternity wedding dresses is definitely a possibility here.
The dress in the picture – Long flowy and boho chic
This is perfect for a boho, hippie chic wedding. I think it’s super dreamy with ruffled bottom, lace cap sleeves and flowy feel. And don’t worry, it’s not sheer. It has a silk lining underneath. A dress that will fit you no matter the size of your belly. The dress is designed and produced in the USA.
Pinkblush
Three words to describe Pinkblush
Modern mother, trendy, versatility
I think Pinkblush is a great place to find really nice and stylish maternity clothes. No matter the occasion. Weddings are no exception. They’re all about a fresh, modern mother that should feel super confident in her pregnancy. As they themselves express it “not your mothers maternity’ clothes”. I think that’s so funny. They also have an awesome plus size department. Pinkblush want to be a lifestyle and not just a brand.
Except that Pinkblush have lots and lots of cheap and cute maternity clothes, they design with versatility in mind. This means two things. They want you to be able to use most of your clothes even after pregnancy. And they don’t want you to get ruined building a maternity wardrobe. It should be easy to mix and match with clothes you already have. To style it up and down for different occasions. Clothes should be worn time and time again.
The dress in the picture – Classy lace from Pinkblush
I think lace is such a classy and feminine choice for a wedding dress. And it’s not just the lace that makes this a good choice. The fitted style, rounded neckline, ruched sides and 3/4 sleeve together forms av classic and beautiful silhouette. On a tight budget this would definitely be a string contender for me.
Tiffany Rose
Three words to describe Tiffany Rose
High quality, for special occasions, timeless design with a twist
Tiffany Rose was created by no one else but Tiffany herself. Her goal was to “offer pregnant women the chance to wear exciting, elegant, beautiful and well-made designs for special occasions”. I think that is such a well summarized description of the clothes and company. We’re not talking about trendy and hip here. We’re talking about iconic designs with a hint of vintage and a slight modern twist. No bright colors or bold statements. But shades, hues and textures.
I think Tiffany Rose have so many beautiful and flattering styles for pregnant women. You will not get disappointed here. Not with the quality, not with dress, and nor with their service. The down side being the price tag. Their dresses are generally a little more expensive. Not unbearably expensive in my opinion, but definitely not cheap. But don’t be sad. They do have a couple of options under a 100 $. And the dresses are more than fine.
Maternity wedding dress from Tiffany Rose
For a few extra $ you can actually get a quality dress from Tiffany Rose. It’s very similar to the one from Pinkblush but it does have some advantages. Instead of nylon/spandex you’ll get soft jersey material and it has a pleating just under the bust which gives flattering shape to your pregnant body. A step up in quality (and price).
A bonus – 2 more tips for you
If you still haven’t found what you’re looking for, I got 2 more places for you to check out. Their wedding dresses are generally cost more than $100 but you can find wonderful dresses on sale there. Definitely worth spending some time on.
Seraphine
Three words to describe Seraphine
Designed clothes, on trend, celebrities and royals
Seraphine might be the most well-known maternity brand in the industry. Since 2002 they’ve focused on really well-designed maternity clothes that are following the fashion trends. Miles away from dreary unfitting t-shirts and stripes that make you look like a grandma. Here you get comfortable trendy outfits that makes you look beautiful. Like the clothes you use when you’re not pregnant (it shouldn’t be rocket science to get that’s what we want).
If you scroll though their collections, you’ll see pictures of pregnant celebrities and royals wearing clothes from Seraphine. They have even created a Diana Collection in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales. As you can imagine they have a lot of gorgeous dresses. But also, other innovative maternity wear.
Blush Fashion
Three words to describe Blush Fashion
Stunning & timeless gowns, glamorous and unique
Blush Fashion doesn’t design maternity wedding gowns, but many of their designs are maternity friendly. The dresses are also handcrafted. This means you can ask for en extra inch or centimeter here and there. This is obviously not a big chain but a small talented team who make the most wonderful dresses. The prices aren’t cheap but they always have a couple of gowns on sale. The discount is usually considerable.
I think the wedding dresses are so unique and feminine. If you’re up for considering something non traditional I would recommend taking a peek at their bridal skirts. So trendy.
Did you find what you were looking for?
Don’t get hung up on my choices. Even though I think they’re the best =) Give yourself some time to check out the options available in the stores. And dare to think a little outside the box. If you want to get away with a cheap wedding, you’ll have to be a little creative. I would love to see what you find. Good luck on the hunt.
You have provided some great sources for finding just the right cheap maternity wedding dresses that are elegant yet comfortable for the woman that likely wishes she could skip the event altogether and just rest! Having something that will look good is important of course, but comfort is more important.
I have looked at a couple of the stores and like the selection. They look great to me. Unfortunately, as a grandfather, my opinions count little when t comes to this subject, so what I have done is to forward this review post and provided a recommendation that my granddaughter have a look and see what might suit her.
My definition of cheap is also not the same as hers. I think $19.95 is cheap, she thinks $399.95 is cheap. See how the value of money changes over the years? I guess it is no wonder that I have little say in the matter? Thanks for the links, they are useful. My granddaughter will thank you too!
Hi Dave. Thanks for sharing. I hope your granddaughter might find something here that you can agree on is both cheap and beautiful. Have a great day.
This sight quite intrigued me, not as a Mum to be, or Bride about to be, but as a Grandfather and Great Grandfather, it does not matter how much money we have, I have always believed in being prudent especially when it comes to Wedding Dresses, you can spend an absolute fortune for just a few hours.
Sorry I am being cynical, my own daughter hired hers and looked absolutely stunning, my first wife bought hers second hand. So to Brides to be and Mum’s to be this site is a real gem.
Well done.
Stuart
Thanks for sharing. I will also look into places to rent. That’s a really good idea.
Hi Moa, I didn’t know how difficult it is to find a maternity wedding dress until my friend was looking for one. It was a nightmare. If only I saw your post before! I’ll make sure I’ll send her the link so she can forward it to her prego friends :) I’m sure they’ll find it useful!
Thank you,
Katya
Right! I hope this post can help them out and save them some time. =)
Hi, Moa!
Every woman when getting married wants to have a great wedding dress. Especially if in the maternity period. Your post gave some great solutions for it. The choices are very nice and stylish. Maternity is very sensitive but also (in my opinion) a beautiful period for women.
